Commercial Lighting with Track Lights & Pendant Lights

This is a 280-square-meter modern open-plan office renovation project, including open-plan employee work areas, independent meeting rooms, reception areas and manager offices. In this project, we adopted the classic dual-light combination scheme: commercial track lights as the overall functional working lighting + decorative chandeliers as the aesthetic lighting. This combination perfectly balances office work efficiency, visual comfort and corporate image display, and is widely applicable to the decoration of modern offices, creative studios, corporate headquarters, start-up companies and other office Spaces.

The initial pain points of office lighting

Before the renovation, the office used traditional ceiling lights, which brought about many problems that affected the work efficiency of employees and the overall space grade:

• Single and flat lighting: The entire space has only one brightness and no lighting layer. The office is dull and monotonous, lacking a modern workplace atmosphere.
• Prone to eye fatigue and glare: Ordinary panel lights produce overall strong light reflection. Employees who face computer screens for long periods of time are prone to dry eyes, dizziness and visual fatigue, which can reduce their work efficiency.
• Fixed lighting layout: Traditional lamps cannot be adjusted. Once the layout of the employee workstations is changed, there will be local dark corners, which cannot adapt to the flexible adjustment of the office layout.
• No area distinction: The office area, reception area, and meeting area all use the same lighting, which fails to highlight the functional zoning and results in a lack of layering throughout the space.
• The overall visual effect is low-end: A single ceiling lamp makes the entire office lack a sense of design and unable to support a high-end corporate image and customer reception scenarios.

Our customized office lighting solutions

A professional modern office lighting system needs to achieve unified work lighting in public areas and concentrated aesthetic lighting in key areas. We precisely match adjustable track lights and decorative chandeliers according to different functional areas to complete the layered lighting design.

1. Track light - Core function: Working lighting

For the open staff work areas and public passage areas, we use commercial track lights as the main lighting. Compared with traditional fixed ceiling lights, track lights offer greater professionalism and flexibility in office scenarios.

• Uniform and flicker-free: The track spotlights and linear floodlights are arranged in a matrix pattern, providing uniform light emission and high color rendering (Ra≥90). The light is soft and close to natural light, effectively reducing screen reflection and eye fatigue, making it suitable for long hours of office work.
• Flexible and adjustable layout: The track light heads can be freely slid, increased, decreased and adjusted in Angle. When the company adjusts workstations or expands teams, the lighting range can be adjusted simultaneously without the need for reconstruction, achieving a long-term reusable lighting layout.
• No dark corners in public areas: Linear track lights ensure uniform overall brightness in open-plan offices, solving the problems of local darkness and uneven illuminance of traditional panel lights.
• Simple and tidy ceiling: The tracks are installed closely to the ceiling with concealed lines. The entire ceiling is clean and tidy, avoiding the messy feeling of the traditional dense light holes.

2. Decorative chandeliers - Area lighting and high-end aesthetics

To break the flatness of large-scale track lighting and enhance the design sense and layering of the office space, we installed modern decorative chandeliers in key functional areas as key lighting.

• Reception area hanging lights: Minimalist decorative hanging lights create a warm, calm and professional business atmosphere. • Reception Area: Warm white decorative hanging lamps, soft and elegant, enhance the business reception atmosphere.
• Passageways and transition zones: Track floodlights ensure smooth light transitions throughout the space without any dark areas.

Final project effect

After the renovation was completed, the entire office was completely rid of the dull, rigid and low-end lighting state, forming a professional layered lighting effect of functional work track lights and aesthetic decorative chandeliers.
